Scripture in Song

Kevin Conner was not only a renowned Bible teacher. He was also a talented, self-taught musician and songwriter. He put many of the Psalms to music and these were sung by churches back in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. As a special treat, this BLOG post contains a series of audios featuring Kevin and his first wife, Joyce Conner, singing some of his original songs, accompanied by Kevin on the accordion or piano.

All lyrics are from the King James Version of the Bible. A PDF of the words for the Scripture songs below can be downloaded from this link.

Be sure to also get a copy of Kevin’s in-depth commentary on The Book of Psalms and his book on The Tabernacle of David. Immediate downloads of PDFs of these two books are currently available at a 50% discount.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing these – brings back many good times from back in the 70’s when I first met Kevin. We sang so much straight scripture back then – what a way to memorize God’s Word! Awesome!

  2. Songs from my childhood,,,
I am forever grateful to Kevin and Joyce for putting to music these beautiful Scriptures. They have helped me remember those verses all my life.
    Thanks Mark!
