Today, we remember Richard J. Holland (1919-2008). He founded and pastored a number of churches in Australia and travelled extensively throughout the world, ministering the Word of God and praying for people’s healing and well-being. He was greatly loved and blessed people wherever he went.
Richard is the founding pastor of Waverley Christian Fellowship, now CityLife Church, a large congregation in Melbourne, Australia. Kevin Conner worked with Richard for many years and their friendship lasted for decades.
Richard wrote three books that are well worth having in your library:
The 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Richard’s ministry over the years included moving in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and this booklet was written to encourage members of the church family to seek after those gifts, for the building up of the body of Christ.
This book is available as a PDF download, in Kindle eBook format, and as a paperback from Amazon Australia, Amazon USA, and other Amazon regions (check your local area).
The Bible and its End-Time Events
Richard’s ministry over the years included frequent teaching about end-time events and this book is a summary of his key insights and revelations about God’s plans for the consummation of history.
This book is available as a PDF download, in Kindle eBook format, and as a paperback from Amazon Australia, Amazon USA, and other Amazon regions.
From an Acorn to an Oak Tree
This is the story of the birth and founding of Waverley Christian Fellowship, which has grown from a small handful of people to one of the largest churches in Australia, now known as CityLife Church.
