The original course “Bible Research” was developed in the 1980s for Portland Bible College, a ministry of Bible Temple in Portland, Oregon, USA. The original syllabus was prepared and collated by Ken Malmin, being a compilation of Methods and Principles of Biblical Research materials set out by the faculty of that time, these being Kevin Conner, Rick Johnston, Bill Scheidler, Bob Stricker, Lanny Hubbard as well as Ken himself.
